    What is the process for requesting an evaluation?

      Before you submit your application, please be sure to read our full Terms & Conditions.

      We recommend that you have all the necessary documents (as outlined in the Required Documents section) before sending your application, as missing documents will delay the processing of your evaluation.

      In order to apply for the evaluation report.

      • Click on ORDER HERE
      • Select the needed service and complete the order
      • Wait for an email with Order Confirmation
      • Once you get the email, reply to the email with all the required documents.

       

      How do I know if my target institution or employer will accept your evaluation? 

      We can't emphasize enough the importance of checking with your intended institution or employer if they will accept IECES.ORG evaluations as well as the type of evaluation required. It is your responsibility to check that prior to submitting the application. 

       

      Can you evaluate documents from my country?

      Our evaluators are able to evaluate academic documents from any country and any time period. Please send an email to inquiry@ieces.org in case you have any questions.

       

      What type of evaluation do I need?

      Check with the institution, prospective employer, immigration attorney or licensing board to understand the specific requirements before sending documents for evaluation.

       

      What if my documents are not in English?

      It is your responsibility to provide documents in English. If the original documents are not in English then you need to get it translated and certified.

       

      How do I submit my documents to IECES.ORG?

      You are responsible for obtaining and submitting your own documents. IECES.ORG cannot request documents on your behalf. The most commonly used method to submit documents is via email or courier. We’ll provide you the instructions once your order is confirmed. Please do NOT send original documents unless requested by IECES.ORG.

       

      How will I know if you have received my documents?

      Once documents are received we’ll send an email confirmation. It is possible that we have not been able to match your document based on a different name used in your application. In order to avoid delays please include a copy of your order number with all mail correspondence.

       

      Will you return my original documents to me?

      Please do NOT send original documents unless requested by IECES.ORG. All the original documents are returned to you with your completed evaluation, unless the documents are determined to be tampered with, fraudulent, or inauthentic. 

      Official documents, those that were submitted directly to IECES.ORG by the issuing institution and/or in an officially sealed or stamped envelope, will not be returned as these documents become property of IECES.ORG once opened by us.

       

      What is the usual time that it takes for the evaluation to be completed? 

      Basic evaluation is completed approximately in 3 business days. For all other evaluations, we cannot guarantee the exact date of completion. If your file requires verification the time frame is dependent on the response time of the verifying institution and no time frame can be given.

      The following steps will help to ensure timely processing:

        • Check that your institution accepts IECES.ORG evaluations.
        • Verify the type of evaluation your institution requires.
        • Review our website completely to ensure you understand all policies, fees, requirements, and timelines. 
        • Obtain the required documents. 
        • Place an order.
        • Respond promptly to all email and phone requests for additional documents.

         

        What if I need the evaluation sooner than the regular time frame? 

        RUSH services are available. There is an additional fee of $99 for this service.

         

        What if I need the evaluation sooner, but I don't want to pay for RUSH services? 

        We encourage you to check with another organization that may offer services within the time-frame that is in line with your personal deadlines.

         

        How long do you keep my records on file?

        IECES.ORG maintains records on all completed evaluations for a period of six months from the date of the first evaluation/translation issued.

         

        Can I have additional copies of my evaluation?

        Yes, there is an additional fee of $50 for this service.

         

        What if I have new documents to be added to an evaluation previously done?

        You can add a new document as long as the order is not completed. If the order is already completed then you need to place a new order with all the documents.

         

        What organizations is IECES.ORG members of?

        IECES.ORG is independent and private owned. We are not member of any organizations.

         

        What if I have questions regarding the outcome of the evaluation?

        IECES.ORG has an open door policy regarding the review of the work completed. We guarantee the professionalism and integrity of our procedure, which is to give each document an honest and diligent evaluation. However, it will occur that the outcome of an evaluation does not necessarily meet the expectations of the client. Also, we would like to emphasize that our evaluation process will in no way be tailored to meet client expectations, it will be 100% based on our professional process. 

        As stated in our literature, due to the differences between U.S. and foreign education systems, the evaluations do not necessarily equal the same number of credits, years of study, grades and degrees/titles granted in the original country.

        You are welcome to bring to our attention (in writing) any concerns you have regarding the outcome of your evaluation and we will review your file. However, please remember that we conduct a professional evaluation process that is not determined in any way by the expectations of the client. We encourage you to thoroughly read through our website and our application to ensure you agree with the terms stated prior to submitting your request for services.

         

        What if I find a mistake on the evaluation/translation I receive?

        If you believe there is a mistake on your evaluation/translation, you are welcome to bring the issue to our attention in writing within 7 days by sending an email to feedback@ieces.org with your Order number, full name, date of evaluation, and detailed explanation of the suspected mistake. If your concerns have merit, a revised evaluation/translation will be issued at no additional cost to you.
